COST

As a result of recent advancements in technology and manufacturing, the cost of photovoltaic panels has dropped. At the same time, electricity rates continue to rise. Installing a solar system is a cost-effective solution that also frees you from dependence on pollution-generating fossil fuels.
A range of financial incentives and rebates is available through federal and state programs that will offset the total cost of a system by up to 50%. The California Solar Initiative provides rebates on residential systems that amount to about 15% of the total cost. On commercial systems, the rebate is $1.10 per watt. As the number of systems installed increases, the amount of rebates decreases. So, the sooner the better!
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, provides grants of up to 30% on systems installed in 2009, 2010 (www.recovery.gov) . Solar projects also qualify for a five-year accelerated depreciation (MACRS) (www.gosolarcalifornia.ca.gov).
Other local incentive programs may also apply to certain systems. When you contact us, we can work out the total savings applicable to your project immediately and, once you decide to install your system, we will take care of all the paperwork.
ESTIMATES
Warren Brown Construction provides state-of-the art energy systems. Individual estimates are based on energy usage, utility rate schedule and solar energy system performance. Site characteristics are evaluated to maximize the value of energy generated. We offer a free estimate based on a general analysis of utility bills, location and/or size and conditions of roofing.
